A fast-paced
blend of puppetry, music, juggling and physical comedy. A typical show
consists of several puppet shows incorporating many different puppet styles
with live
musical accompaniment. Each performance ends with a "close-up" demonstration
of the
puppets and questions and answers.
As children
spend more and more of their time in front of televisions, The Red Wing
Puppet Theater's goal is to help develop an appreciation of live, acoustic performance
in the younger audience.
With over
20 puppet shows available, covering a variety of themes, The Red Wing
Puppet Theater offers something for everyone. The Red Wing Puppet Theater is
also one
of the few touring groups that can offer shows exclusively for preschool audiences.
